font-weight: bold;\"> RESUMEN<\/span><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; line-height: 1.8; margin-bottom: 18px; color: #333;\"><strong><em>Introducci\u00f3n: <\/em><\/strong>Las infecciones asociadas a la atenci\u00f3n en salud (IAAS) constituyen un riesgo en la atenci\u00f3n en salud, sobre todo en los servicios de terapia intensiva, por lo que la b\u00fasqueda de sus reservorios es de gran importancia para el control.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; line-height: 1.8; margin-bottom: 18px; color: #333;\"><strong><em>Objetivo: <\/em><\/strong>Mejorar la detecci\u00f3n de reservorios potenciales de infecciones asociadas a la atenci\u00f3n en salud (IAAS) a trav\u00e9s de un sistema de mapeo epidemiol\u00f3gico en el Hospital de Especialidades Materno Infantil.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; line-height: 1.8; margin-bottom: 18px; color: #333;\"><strong><em>Material y m\u00e9todos: <\/em><\/strong>Se realiz\u00f3 un an\u00e1lisis inferencial multivariado para identificar que elementos se asocian con el incremento de riesgo de IAAS en el servicio de Terapia Intensiva HODEMI, mediante mapeo epidemiol\u00f3gico y aplicaci\u00f3n de las herramientas FLIR\u00ae, LIDAR\u00ae y lumin\u00f3metr\u00eda.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; line-height: 1.8; margin-bottom: 18px; color: #333;\"><strong><em>Resultados: <\/em><\/strong>En el an\u00e1lisis multivariado, los incrementos de CO2 y temperatura son los principales predictores de reservorios potenciales de infecciones. El servicio con mayor probabilidad de sufrir IAAS fue neonatolog\u00eda y el an\u00e1lisis grupal de herramientas mostr\u00f3 una mayor significancia que el grupal en b\u00fasqueda de reservorios.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; line-height: 1.8; margin-bottom: 18px; color: #333;\"><strong><em>Conclusiones: <\/em><\/strong>Las herramientas del sistema de mapeo epidemiol\u00f3gico mostraron resultados grupales de gran importancia en la vigilancia activa y control de IAAS.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; line-height: 1.8; margin-bottom: 18px; color: #333;\"><strong><em>Palabras Clave: <\/em><\/strong>IAAS, Mapeo epidemiol\u00f3gico, FLIR\u00ae, LIDAR\u00ae<\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: left; margin-bottom: 22px;\"><span style=\"display: inline-block; padding-bottom: 8px; border-bottom: 2px solid #00663a; color: #333; font-size: 16px; font-weight: bold;\"> ABSTRACT<\/span><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; line-height: 1.8; margin-bottom: 18px; color: #333;\"><strong><em>Introduction: <\/em><\/strong>Healthcare-associated infections (HAI) are a constant risk in healthcare, especially in intensive care services, so the search for their reservoirs is of great importance for their control.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; line-height: 1.8; margin-bottom: 18px; color: #333;\"><strong><em>Objective: <\/em><\/strong>To analyze the variables associated with the increased probability of developing potential reservoirs of healthcare-associated infections (HAI).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; line-height: 1.8; margin-bottom: 18px; color: #333;\"><strong><em>Material and methods: <\/em><\/strong> A multivariate inferential analysis was carried out to identify the elements associated with the increased risk of HAI in the HODEMI Intensive Care Unit, by means of epidemiological mapping and application of FLIR\u00ae, LIDAR\u00ae and luminometer tools.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; line-height: 1.8; margin-bottom: 18px; color: #333;\"><strong><em>Results: <\/em><\/strong>In the multivariate analysis, CO2 and temperature increases are the main predictors of potential reservoirs of infections. The service most likely to suffer from HAIs is the neonatology service, compared to adult therapy. The type of structure is not associated with increased HCAI risk.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; line-height: 1.8; margin-bottom: 18px; color: #333;\"><strong><em>Conclusions: <\/em><\/strong>Periodic measurement of CO2 and temperature is an appropriate strategy to monitor and prevent HAIs.
